i think they will produce them. a while back i filled out a questionaire for the treasury dept., and most questions pertained to gold coins, mostly unc. w eagles, first spouse and buff fractionals. the mint has 3 more months to offer up more stuff late in the year as they did last year. the anniv. plats and the buffalo fracs are coming

I will make a guess that the Mint changes the design of the 24kt gold coin after the end of 2007, and does not issue fractional coins.

They haven't produced the reverse plats either. If they do produce them I see them being offered as only as sets for quick sellout. If they sold them as singles the one ouncer will not sell.

I would like to see the mint start the fractionals with the Buffalo.

If they are changing the design next year, they need the fractionals this year.

Yes on the fractionals, but the mint cannot keep up with demand on the gold already ordered so I just cannot imagine them doing fractionals this year.

i thought about sending this one in but never did.

personally i would prefer fractional buffs instead of the prez and spouse series. i`d like to see less "junk" and more quality designs.
