    Mine is coming in the second shipping batch, will be here monday morning by 10:30 am, Time stamp on my order was 12:43 ET, Proof & Uncirculated

    What does it mean when your (my) order status is on hold? Both are in stock.

    Call the Mint ASAP! It usually means they had a problem charging your credit card.

    Edited to add: Mine are out for delivery. I have to wait until I get home to see them though.
    I'd keep playing. I don't think the heavy stuff will be coming down for quite a while!

    Usually means there was a problem with your credit card...you have to call them and straighten it out.

    Thanks to ilikebuffaloes, Casman, and Big Daddyz for your advice. I called the mint and you were right, my billing address on the order did not match the billing address of my credit card. I guess for the bigger ticket items, they are a bit more thorough with this situation because I've had many other orders go through without any problems.

    My unc is on the truck right now but the proof apparently hasn't been shipped yet. It is still in stock and reserved. This is probably because they were waiting to get the first one off a new die for meimage

    Arrived at 0927, which suprises me that I received them in the first shipment as I ordered them at 1348 and 1351 EST and for awhile I was not sure that I would even get them.

    Anyone want to guess the number of TJs that will be listed over the weekend on der Bay? Won't receive mine here on the left coast until Monday.

    So did both proof and unc come in one box, or were they separate.

    Just wondering if I may open one, w/o ruining the others first strike capabilities down the road.

    Wouln't all these coins be considered First strike since there are only forty thousand of them? Would they change or polish the dies for this small of a run?

    Just got my pair. They were shipped separately but I believe that is because I ordered them separately.

    I opened the proof--outstanding!!

    One nit to pick though--the coin was loose in its case and rattleing around. The unc. sounds OK.

    This sucks....My order went through at 1234pm and is still showing in stock and reserved. The lady at the Mint said that no one has had theirs shipped yet - WTF???????

    I read somewhere that proof dies for silver coins are only good for about 600 coins before they get pulled and polished. Not sure the number for gold coins though.
    Luck happens when preparation meets opportunity.

    Keep checking the FedEx tracking site, they have been updating it hourly. The Mint seems intent on shipping the vast majority of the mintage in only a couple of days.

    Mine just arrived! They are both beautiful. I'll leave the other set that should be delivered in another hour or two in the box until PCGS figures out what is a First Strike. Will the prices go up on eBay this weekend?

    The worst part is I might not even open them.

    If you are referring to the Mint - they don't have a clue. "They are supposed to ship the end of the month".

    Not true...I ordered both of mine by 12:10 & received both this AM...

    I was suppose to have them this morning. I live on a private drive and a substitute driver for Fed Ex couldnt find it. So now I have to hope he is still in the area or wait until Monday....grrrrrrrrrrrr.

    How many did you order?
    Btw....one of my friends had his picked up today (delivery for Monday). My mom's is on the truck for delivery. Mine was delivered at 9am this morning.
    Mom and mine were before 12:30. My friend's was closer to 12:45.

    I've been told I tolerate fools poorly...that may explain things if I have a problem with you. Current ebay items - Nothing at the moment
