2007 silver proof montana error what happened?

I'm new to this forum so if I screw something up, someone please let me know. Thought I would see if anyone could tell me what happened to this 2007 silver proof montana quarter?

    The coin moved a bit during the normal double-striking procedure. This is not rare on modern Proofs. I don't think it adds any value.

    All proof coins are double-struck. That one appears to have shifted just a tad between strikes.

    I reported something similar in this thread for the regular clad proofs. Mine were definitely machine or ejection doubling which is kinda weird for a proof since they are supposed to be hand fed. But whatever..............
    I decided to change calling the bathroom the John and renamed it the Jim. I feel so much better saying I went to the Jim this morning.

    I don't think the coin moved. More likely the die moved. Same effect though.

    I believe this is what Alan Herbert refers to as "flat field doubling". As others have stated, it's due to slight movement of the die between the multiple strikings that all proofs experience.
