Flying Eagle Cent Conundrum
My uncle had this penny filling the 1856 slot and I looked at it from
different angles and I do believe the date ends in a 6 although it is very very faint. Now I know these have been
altered from the 1858 cent so I sent it to PCGS and it came back no decision/ refund.
So what are my options? Send it to ANACS or just forget about it and let it go at that?
I don't trust my ability to make conclusions that this is a '56 but I do trust my (deceased) uncle's expertise.
Thoughts, opinions? Thanks.

<< <i>It's a 1858 Small Letter (low leaves too), although some 1856's do have the low leaves reverse. All 1856's are large letters. >>
