They're not catching on with ebayers... but that's better for the local market. Garage and estate sales.

It's easy to displace Lady Liberty but it's very difficult to displace a sitting President, one that's sitting on a coin that is. It's probably also hard to displace Sacagawea given the Indian lobby.

You might have to create another denomination like 20c.

This may be true,,, but for the last hundred years we have had mostly Dead Presidents.... Personaly... I'm Sick Of em... The Sac's ,, Golden Colored dollars were a welcome relief,, along with the Eagle series..

Personaly,, I would like to see the Standing Liberty Quarter replace the Wash. Qrt after the state qrt. thingy is over.. Here's one we will probly never see in our lifetime is the replacement of the Kennedy Half dollar.... It's been forty three years... give me a break... as long as ted kennedy is in office this will never even be considered.... We need a beautiful design on the half,,, there's a lot of surface there to work with..

I think it's possible to get Lady Liberty back on more circulating coins but probably more as the Statue of Lady Liberty and on the reverse to displace the eagle like the DPDs. One exception is Monticello because it has a lobby to keep the free advertising going.

If anyone thinks we have it bad, think about our Canadian friends. The queen still has the same hair style after all these years.

It's not just Canada, it's a whole slew of countries on every denomination. She is getting smaller on some new coins ($8 vault protector NCLT) but is getting bigger on others ($1m gold NCLT).

Hmm, can you say the $1m gold coin has circulated if you roll it around on it's edge?
