1909 Lincoln medal help? Anyone with the KING reference?

Does anyone know or recognize the designer/sculptor of this 1909 Lincoln Centennial medal?
50mm (2 Inches), bronze....marked on reverse bottom: THE WHITEHEAD HOAG CO. Newark. Stamped on Rim BRONZE WHITEHEAD HOAG.
No names, initials or logos other than the WH manufacturer noted above.
I would be grateful for any help you can provide on the designer/sculptor.

I did recently purchase this in a group of 4...

King 383 matches the description....especially the sun rising on reverse with log cabin and capitol dome...however...the size listed is only 25mm and medal is looped.
My medal measure 50-51mm....and King 317 seems to match it due to size and material...however....it does not mention the rising sun....of course neither entry has photos...
Can anyone help that has the King reference?

Yes....saw this in a reference last night I found...but the style does not seem to fit either....and both went on to do some nice work..and seemed to sign everything??

317. Obv., Clothed, bearded bust of Lincoln facing right. Inscription around bust, "ABRAHAM LINCOLN".
Rev., In the upper field on the left a log cabin. In the center, the rising sun ; above the rays, the dates, "1809-1865". On the right is seen the dome of the Capitol at Washington. Below the inscription, in three lines, "CENTENNIAL CELEBRATION EMANCIPATOR OF A RACE, SAVIOR OF THE UNION." Below, the date, "1909". The reverse die of this medal cracked in the center, and the medal shows the fracture. A new die had to be cut from which perfect pieces were struck. "W. & H. CO."
Gilt, white metal.
Size 51 mm.
318. Obv., Same as preceding.
Rev., Same as preceding, without die crack, and the addition in small letters, "THE WHITEHEAD & HOAG CO. NEWARK, N. J."
The New York Times originated and several other leading newspapers in the country followed in announcing to their readers that they would distribute medals as awards for competitive essays written on the Centennial of Lincoln, and from the obverse die of this piece, with suitable and different reverses, were issued other medals that were given by a number of newspapers, as will be seen by the pieces listed under "Medals of Award."
Copper, brass silvered, ead, gilded.
Size 51 mm.
Yours seems to be King 318.

Amen to that....I am GRATEFUL for the time he took to look it up and type that post.....
I wonder if "Lincoln in Numismatics" would have addition info?
I found a copy for sale on the www...but at $125....it is out of my range.
At this point....with Jonathanb's help...I have what I need...other than the designer...which may never be known since Whitehead & Hoag used many artists that didn't sign their work.

$125 seems to be about the going rate, but they turn up cheaper from time to time. I got mine for about $20

oops...I knew that!.....long day at work, now tired and been typing for hours totally threw my mind off in the post above..I started to go in one direction of thought...got interupted and went off into another before realizing my goof.....
