the question that remains is should he have rejected that offer of $20,000. as the saying goes "a bird in the hand..."

i hope he made the right decision. but right now he is only a 1/4 of the way there. then he will have to take off all the fees that will be charged.

I guess that it's better than the "I have a" MLK cut auto or the "Don't ask what" JFK cut auto.

That's really sad and could actually cause some backlash if some religious folks get ahold of that.

thats for sure- they could have made it better than that and left god bless you and mother teresa all on there,or better yet, just got another one that was better with just her name on it,she lived to be real old, its not like she didnt sign a few in 87 years,maybei can get ahold of topps and ill sell em my emelia earhardt auto for next years set!!!, a whole lot harder to get,she has made one in over 50+ years,think they dropped the ball on qulity control on this one,otherwise i really like the allen and ginters,this one is butchered,the master automan knuckles couldnt do much with this one except for cut out terera,the rest is gone,boo for topps

I've posted this gem a couple times before, but I think it bears repeating here as a similar example of a cut sig that begs the question, "WTF?"

If I remember right, I found this listed in an eBay store late last year. And, checking in again just now, it's still available for $339.99.

I wonder if they ever made a Stevie Wonder cut, I mean they should since he is clearly the one who is cutting these signatures for the companies. There should also be a Legends version of Ray Charles who cut the signatures before him.

They should've made the cut card postcard or N43-sized and put it in one of those "box topper" packs. They've got relcs and autos in the larger box toppers... it's insane that they didn't put Mother Theresa's card in a larger format and preserve the entire sentiment. They have a dog's paw print on an N43-sized card for Pete's sake!

Imagine if they took a Pete Rose note that said "I'm sorry I bet on baseball" and did that.

i would have took the $20,000 in a heartbeat for a pathectic auto like that completley butchered,dont know if he will get that or not,we'll see- then went back and bought some old vintage packs! maybe the pope will buy it and put it in his baseball card collection!!!

Speaking of conspiracy any one find it odd that the hottest card from the hottest new product is pulled from one of the top advertisers in Beckett on the biggest hobby stage and the guy who pulls it cannot wait to get the card slabed by Beckett.

look how its slabbed. its not even graded. bet beckett slabbed it for free, cause no duh its about as authetic as could be if pulled from a pack. unless the cut was fake to start.

Heck yeah! I don't think it'll reach 20K, but who knows....Beckett's story/publicity is carrying the card.
