PCGS 70 DCAM Presidential Proof Set
A few other auctions are in the 2-3 grand area right now. Probably two million will be minted. I know these are not easy to get in 70 but these prices seem to be holding for now. At least with the 2006 W Plats MS you have some bullion backing them up and only 4200 minted in the $100 ounce MS and right now no one wants them.

    it will be interesting to see where the price goes when PCGS and NGC starts churning out the 70s in an attempt to get submission levels up.

    that set was probably purchased by a mortgage company, home builder or hedge fund manager. they seem to have their eye out for wise investments!

    I wonder if the buyer will sign up here in a year or so when their coins have milk spots on them and ask if there is anything they can do to save their "investment".

    As much as I like 70's, yes those are insane prices.

    i have seen low pops on PCGS 70's for these. even when the prices settle....it still may blow you away.

    69's are fine for me and this coin set.
