Just wait till Marty sees that (actually he'll probably want a few for his collection of AU58s).

Nice! Russ, I figured both you and Marty would come up with this stuff. (I think Marty had something last week already.)

    True, true, true. But,
I like the guy, I am not sure why. Maybe because its so hard to find an awsome Frankie. Its much easier to find a great Kennedy. Even the one I posted I like. When I posted him before everyone said its fugly.image

Ole' Ben never had Marilyn Monroe, Betsy Ross maybe... But not Marilyn!!!
It is not exactly cheating, I prefer to consider it creative problem solving!!!

I understand that Ben was a ladies man. And just what do you imagine he was spending all that time in Paris doing, exactly? I don't think that it was all one type of negotiating.image

Well let's see. Ben was a self made man. Nope sorry JFK doesn't hack it there.
Ben was a MAJOR intellectual power during his lifetime. Among some of the things he created were; bifocals, the lightening rod, the catheter, the Franklin stove and the odometer. He was a major player in (just to give an idea of how widespread his interests were) the charting of the Gulf Stream, our understanding of electricity, and the necessity of proper nutrition, notably fruits ("An apple a day keeps the doctor away", was a phrase HE created) to help the body function properly. Nope sorry JFK doesn't hack it there.
Ben was a driving force behind the political scene. JFK yes.
Ben was a big time ladies man. JFK yup.
JFK got us involved in Vietnam. Ben nope.

Ben's Autobiography is good reading. I recommend it. His treatises on Electricity kinda aced out the Frenchman who was top electicity dog at the time. Another tough break for les Francais. (Maybe it was an Englishman? Dang, now I can't remember.)

Say what you will about JFK, but he was MY President, and THEY killed him on my birthday. And we will never know who.

Put another way, Ben got us involved in a war we won. JFK ....
