Less than 1/2 of what the PCGS graded 70's are going for...

He doesn't seem to be a big fan of ICG: image

I mention that because I was just made absolutely sick-to-my-stomach by a company I won't name but I'll just call - oh, let's say ICL - Independent Coin Labeler. This hypothetical company is offering what is quite simply an inferior product - and - get this - it's limited to 'only' 4,207 sets. I can only imagine the printer broke and that's all the labels they could print.

  • The price for this set shows I just don't understand. If the PCGS price is double this, then that price I really don't understand.

  • Who the he)) is "GEC" ??? No another new one.

But I'm in awe right now. PCGS PR70 Martha Wash just went to $4550 with 33 bidders and the Reserve was not met.
How high do they want this to go.
Anyway NGC is doing "A FOURTH" the price. What a coin, woweeeeeee ????

....aren't there any 70-lovin' modern advocates out there for this "super" buy?

Prime example of someone needing a good slapping per my post earlier in the week. Must be sweet having big bucks to drop on pocket change!

Also look at the close date on that... July 7th. At that time, very very few PF70s had come out from NGC. Since then, they've become more available, and the prices have come significantly down since then.

Strange that your grapes would be so sour since they are in season.

Russ, Russ, Russ, you must have missed my previous post about the grapes.

At this point they're just raisins.

And to clarify, generally the "sour grapes" expression means discouraging what one cannot obtain--i.e. envy or jealousy. I have no desire to obtain modern crap. Just classic crap. image
