I am starting my Type Set - Lets see the best YOU have!

I need some inspiration and goals for what my set could like when it is complete... so post a pic of the "Cream Of The Crop Page" of your set! Also any tips or suggestions you might have would be greatly appreciated image

  • Very nice, FatMan. Sadly a set of that type of metal for me exists only in my dreams image

    Thanks for the pic!

My daughter was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes at the age of 2 (2003). My son was diagnosed with Type 1 when he was 17 on December 31, 2009. We were stunned that another child of ours had been diagnosed. Please, if you don't have a favorite charity, consider giving to the JDRF (Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation)

This is the only page I have completed, missing 1 coin from 4 others (besides the moderns) 4 coins left!

The scanner didnt show any luster of the coins, the drapped half cent and cent look better in person. The classic head large cent is marked corroded, but the corrosion is the small mark at 12:00. The 2 center has some blue-purple toning in the center.
Will post everything else when its done!

Here's the cream of the crop for my Southern Silver Type Set. Of course it's also the only coin I've gotten for the set so far. image

In all the years I was married with two daughters, I could never get all three women to sit down, be quiet and face the same way.

I had to get a TYPE set to do it !

Yes Barry, very nice! I like you setup showing the front and back of each row consecutively. Gets me thinking...

Would any of you attempt a 7070 that had TWO slots for each type? One to show the Obv and one for the Rev? A nice complete matching set would be very image
