Just looked at Heritage website at 1881's and 1884's. Your coin is an 1884. 1884 '4' tops come to a point, 1881 '1' tops are blunt.

Its an 84. The top of the point on the 4 is higher than the top of the 1 on an 81. Compare the top of the point on the last number to the height of the 8 next to it. It will look to much higher on an 84 (at least on most of those I compared) than on an 81. Plus the last diget will appear closer to the 8 on an 81 - farther away from the 8 like on yours. You got bit by the too much "Liberty" in the crown still showing for a PO1. It's still a very nice score in 02. Congrats.

Mice coins! I think the reverse has too much detail for it to be a PO01. As for the date, the upper potion of the 4 gives it away for me. That stem that comes down on the left of the digit is straight, rather than curved like a 1 would be.

So, are you looking for a Hot Lips in PO01?

if only we had the decimal system of grading....definitely a 1.75...so I guess they rounded up! That is how gradeflation works! Couple more crackouts and, maybe a resubmit under a big name dealer and you will have that one up to VG8 in no time. Save us consortium!
