Now that several dealers have been thrown under the bus, let's find out who you enjoy doing business with. Name a dealer that you like and trust. Personally one of my favorite dealers is Andy Skrabalak of Angel Dee's.

In terms of people / entities from whom I have enjoyed buying multiple coins over a period of time, I'd say Mark Feld, Wayne Herndon and Pinnacle Rarities.

Bill Nagle, a friend for almost 30 years and definately the guy I've learned the most about coins from.

Heritage for their auctions and auction archives... I liked Legend's auctions too while they were up and running and hope they do get them going again, not quite the calibre of Heritage's of course, but they were fun nevertheless.

Ed Milas of Rarcoa. Although I don't see him often anymore, he can show up with the wildest coins, and they're not just for "show and tell".

Louis Hudson. His Latin American inventory is as exotic as it gets, and he's always glad to educate.

Robert Bosare. He comes up with neat old time deals more than you would think, and he's as dumb as can be. Lots of good deals, if you're lucky enough to get first or second shot.

For Lincoln and Indian cents, Charmy Harker of Coincents is my favorite dealer. I also frequent Larry Whitlow, Rare Coins of New Hampshire, and Wayne Herndon, to name a few.

I've been very happy with
Mark Feld (really great service, great guy)
Anaconda (I bought a small dollar coin and was treated very well)
Northeast Numismatics (I've bought about a dozen coins from them and always been treated fairly, had my offers fairly considered, etc)

Would trust Russ most certainly, but have not found something to buy from him.
He lives close enough I could drive down and bounce anything I don't like off his head

so it's not too risky!

I prefer to buy the coin and not the dealer. Invariably, the better purchases either show up at major auctions or via local dealers who may not know exactly it is that they have.

I was actually at their offices today. I met Warren Mills for the first time. Great guy. I have know Jon for years. Warren took the time to go over my stuff and made recomendations. He also purchased a small collection that belonged to a friend. Did it right on the spot. While I was there I purchased my first $20 Saint. It will be on it's way to PCGS shortly. Class outfit all around!

I Like the guys who don't have a hard time giving me a hard time back. There is a lot of standoffishness going on and breaking the ice often times has to do with finding out how far a guy can push. I'm really easy going and am likely to do business with anyone.
