Question on Toned NGC Slabbed Franklin

I just visted my new B/M shop in town. He pulled out an NGC slabbed MS67 toned in pink and looked sweet. He told me that he would let me have it between 57 and 60 dollars. I did not take him up on it yet but after seeing price on MS67 maybe I should . Need some expert help here. HElp did I just mess up?

    My money's on a missing piece of the equation; otherwise, I'd say "possibly."

    I dont know what year but a MS 67 in any year would be a steal. Pr67 probably not such a deal

    twodrhrdtp has it right any ms67 ngc franklin would be an enormus steal at that price. A pf 67 however could be a steal or a rip off depending on the year.

    Heck, I can. If it is truly an MS67 (and not a PR67) and is in an NGC slab, it doesn't matter what year, $57-$60 is ridiculous.

    FWIW, I'm betting the coin is a PR67.

    There are slabs out there that are clerical errors that say MS, when the coin is in reality a PF or PR. This is undoubtedly one of them. If the dealer is telling you it is MS, he is unscrupulous.

    It's a PF67. Franklins graded MS67 go for far more than the dollar range quoted.

    Tom you are correct. I went back to the coin shop and I read the holder incorretly. It is a PF67. thanks for the help

    FWIW, current bluesheet on a NGC PR67 1960 Frankie is $20. Nice toning would obviously increase the value of it a certain amount, but the amount depends upon what the toning looks like, and for that we'd need a picture.
