Should I be bummed?

I wanted to bid on this, but I missed the end of the auction. I had put in a snipe bid but it was below the current bid by the time of the ended auction (my snipe bid was for $1250). I would have gone for more but I was not present at the end of the auction to do so.
IMO the coin is an easy AU55, with a great shot at AU58
should I be bummed I didn't get it? Your opinions?

Why would you "go for more" when you have a snipe bid? Don't people use their max bid as a snipe bid?
I can understand if you realize you lost by $0.63 or something (which means a bid over the next increment would have won and is generally something that I would be ok paying...just a couple of bucks more), but, really, is it that bad to put your max as a snipe then move on?
I've been told I tolerate fools poorly...that may explain things if I have a problem with you. Current ebay items - Nothing at the moment

...and you used a snipe program ... Hmmmmm

I'm not sure it would not get BB'd for a lot of scraping or filing showing on the obv rims. You would think if the seller could have gotten a lot more for this by slabbing as a 55 or higher, he would have. Something tells me this one has been to the services already.

I agree with MCN. It wasn't meant to be.
You'll probably find something else instead that will appeal to you a bit more further down the line.
Heck, I'll sell coins raw that are gradeable and take the hit for not being certified - but not on a multi-thousand dollar level. Anyone who could afford that wouldn't bother with Ebay, IMHO.
Call me suspicious, but smoething just doesn't seem right here.
