New purchase and a question

I am working on a 1955 (birthyear) set in MS66 and just bought the following from one of Russ' auctions.
Incidentally his auction pictures are exact and received coin in a couple of days.
Here are his pics:
Now my question is this.
I always save the auction pictures on my desktop and check them with the coin when I receive it to be sure it is the same coin and to see if if it was represented properly.
Sometimes I have used the auction pictures when I resold an item and like in this thread I used Russ' pictures.
I have been thinking that this may not be legal or at least not appropriate to do so.
What do you think about the question and the coin?

As a disclaimer I have not seen many coins in ths era and not familiar with grading them.
When I first saw the listing my thoughts were that I prefer white rather than splotchy toning. I figured in hand it would be a little lighter than the pic and it is.
Also I expected a little less hits for a 66 I noticed 2 on the obverse and 3 on the reverse although not deep or obvious.
The strike on the reverse appears a little weak, may be typical for this year. Also it appears to have a die crack running through the RIBUS in pluribus.
Overall I am very happy with it.

I've been told I tolerate fools poorly...that may explain things if I have a problem with you. Current ebay items - Nothing at the moment

I believe pictures belong to the original taker for all eternity unless released by same or a disclaimer of some sort like the one used for these forums.

That is what I was thinking. Some have invested a reasonable amount of money in equipment and developed a skill in taking coin photos and should have rights to their photos (property). Just because I now own the coin I do not think I own the rights to their photos.
This question was not specific to Russ' photo of this coin. I just started to think about this topic again when I planned to share my new purchase.
I will take your advice and ask any sellers if I can use their photos.

You are, of course, wrong.
That said, I have always allowed any of my buyers to use my images in any way they please, including if they decide to sell the coin. Many ask first and it's nice when they do, but not necessary.

Incorrect. The person who created the image and the description owns the copyright. The buyer owns only the coin.

Are you referring to the marks I saw or some that you see?
The marks I saw were 1 on Washington's neck and 1 in hair.
On reverse a couple on bottom of wings and on 'unum'.
All pretty light and not distracting.
