If you haven't read my eBay guide as of yet, you may find it useful when buying coins on eBay. I would greatly appreciate it being checked out by forum members. You never know, it might be a useful read, especially if you buy alot of coins on eBay. There is a little button on the bottom of the page that asks if this review was helpful or not. Honest repsonses are greatly appreciated.

This is an excellent guide for someone new to coin collecting or new to ebay. For those of us that are somewhat familiar with both Numismatics and ebay, portions of this may seem obvious, but this is still a very comprehensive and well written reference tool.

I have bookmarked it.

Brandon- I am putting a section about "Buying Coins on eBay" in the coin newsletter I put out. There are many points that I overlooked, thank you!! It looks great! I wish everyone would read it!

Good job. Anyone buying coins on ebay without experience should read this and save themselves from learning by their mistakes.

Excellent guides, Brandon! Think of the number of rip-offs that could have been avoided had buyers read and followed this guide BEFORE BUYING.

Great lists. If it is ok I'd like to put a link to that first list in my auctions on eBay. I'll be sure to give Anaconda Rare Coins credit, too. I'd imagine it would be no problem, but I figure I should ask anyway. I get way too many newbie questions from my auctions on eBay. While newbie questions are fine -- we all started out with no knowledge, and I hardly consider myself an expert -- I worry about the people who ask those questions and them getting ripped off by all the slimy sellers on eBay. There are way more scammers and cheats on eBay than sincere sellers.

That is a nice write up for old and new people alike. I am not sure if you can edit your guide, but if you can you might want to put a line about "If it is too good to be true..." Nice work!

I have converted several of my general interest items to eBay guides:

BU Roll Buyer's Guide had to be divided into several guides due to length.

1970-S Small Date and Large Date Cents

1976 Type I and II Eisenhower Dollars

1979 Wide Rim Susan B. Anthony Dollar

1943 and 1944 Steel and Copper Cents

Prestige Proof Sets (Produced 1983-1997)

Proof Silver American Eagles (aka ASEs or SAEs)

Premier Silver Proof Sets (Issued 1992 to 1998)

The eBay guide format is a bit limiting. Most of these articles are also on our website with more attractive formating, larger images and other information.
