This can sometimes happen if the coin just happens to be dragged on something but when it's both sides it was probably intentional. They sometimes are filed for use as a screwdriver.
Odd that it has been filed that perfectly to leave most of the fields untouched. I can see it is circulated well but I just thought it odd that there seems little or no damage to other parts of the coin. Thanks for the info.
clothes dryer. I've seen them come right out of the drier like that. Also, cents that many people still call spooned usually are damaged in a commercial clothes drier as well.
