If you could link a piece of music to any particular coin...

what would it be?

Mine:
"Appalachian Spring," written by Aaron Copland, would be linked to the 1848 "CAL" $2.5 gold piece

"You Spin Me Right Round," Dead or Alive, would be linked to the $50 Humbert slug.

No "particular" coin, and I'm not sure of the song title, but there was a rock song in the sixties with the line:

"Gimme 'dis; gimme 'dat; gimme, gimme gimme 'dat!!

Would the appropriate piece for the Clinton/Monica quarter be The Nutcracker Suite?

    Werewolves of London

What does Appalachia have to do with California gold?

<< <i>"You Spin Me Right Round," Billy Idol, would be linked to the $50 Humbert slug. >>

That song was done by Dead or Alive, not Billy Idol.

Could you tell us WHAT coin you are linking the song to? None of your images work, at least not right now...

I'd link Screamin' Jay Hawkins' "Constipation Blues" to 95% of the MS 65 and MS 66 Barber Halves I've seen in the last four years; a nasty, graphic song for some really hideous coins.
    "Vou invadir o Nordeste,
    "Seu cabra da peste,
    "Sou Mangueira......."
