I saw the squirrel and the bird also. Met up with BECOKA and Rob Cunningham of Morgan Kendall. Was I standing near you when the squrriel ran by? You're not fond of panama hats and suit jackets?

Thanks. It is a lot darker than the picture portrays, almost like a dark chocolate.

Nope, I was the guy in jeans, sweater, and baseball hat-- typical undercover coin collector wear.

That squirrel could have made out very well. Now that I think of it, he might have had a slab in his mouth, a PCGS slab of course.

I saw the bird all four days. Never heard about the squirrel. Just outside the loading dock there were three cats playing as well.

Squirrels are taking over this part of CA-- at my apartment complex they're all over the place. The dogs don't even bother chasing them anymore!

Tree rats.. destructive pests... people only think they are cute, mainly because of the bushy tail. If it was hairless, they would consider it a rat... nasty little buggers. Ruin bird feeders, get into attics and cellars, eat plant bulbs.. no end to their pesky behaviour. Killed 36 so far. Cheers, RickO

I actually had a fox squirell as a pet when I was about 7 or 8 yrs old. You would surprised at how smart those animals are. It fell out of a tree when it was just a baby and we nursed it back to health and it became part of the family. They are very playful and fun to own and they get along well with cats and dogs if the cats and dogs are friendly enough. You have to pay for alot of shots for them at the vet but it was worth it.

Yay ricko! Me too. I tolerated the lil devils until THIS YEAR.....when they decided that putting walnuts INTO bonsai wasn't enough so they began digging up the roots and NOT burying anything.

Yo, pellet gun. Pfffft. plop.

Now a PET one mite be OK. But I agree on the "tree rat" designation.
