I just made a pretty big purchase or I'd consider. I'd wager it looks a lot nicer than the pictures and is heavy on purple coloring.

ms66 is a high grade though.

i wonder what the pops are for this date, anyone?

Pop is 140 at 66, 10 at 67 none higher

I dont like the coin myself. Not a very good strike in the center. The ribbon bands aren't even showing and the hair above the ribbon is flat. Just does'nt do it for me in this grade I would expect a better coin.

$700+ is is typical for a 1916-P PCGS MS66. Unfortunately, this particular coin is not a very nice example for the grade. Even if this coin were graded 65, I would not have been interested. The strike is terrible for the grade and the toning is funky despite the lousy images.

I agree with Shamika... who is more skilled than I... but clearly, this is a surprising grade for this coin. I have some MS66 Buffs.. and they look far superior to this example. Cheers, RickO

i hate to burst your bubble but that coin is a weakly struck overgraded dreg. im not trying to be nasty in any way but you should learn what a nice purchase is before you spend that kind of money. as shamika said there is alot nicer buffalos out there!
