nice stuff !!! love that 3CS !!! and that seated dollar !!!
to follow up on the 1898 dollar that I posted yesterday (that is, an hour or so ago, before midnight), here's another two-sided toned Morgan, this one an 1879-P. This coin is an MS65, and is not fully struck over the ear, so it has been demoted to my duplicates set and replaced by a one-sided MS66 with beautiful blue and rose obverse toning. However, the colors on this 1879 PCGS MS65 are exceptional, and so this thread gives me a good place to display it:
I don't know how this would grade, but I sure liked the colors!

Exclusively collecting Capped Bust Halves in VF to AU, especially rarity 3 and up. Joe G. Great BST purchases completed with commoncents123, p8nt, blu62vette and Stuart. Great coin swaps completed with rah1959, eyoung429 and Zug. Top-notch consignment experience with Russ.
My last two posts were Morgans with two-sided toning, so I think I will stick to that theme. Like the 1898 and 1879 Morgans posted above this 1879-O represents a date/mintmark that is not normally found with toning, let alone attractive colorful two-sided toning:
I can't believe that Dizzy did a drive-by posting. Where is your picture? Why don't you edit post 500 and leave us with something gorgeous to view - lent is over compadre.

Beautiful 1873 proof seated dollar ... that is a better date in the 1866-1873 With Motto period, and not often found with great eye appeal. While there may be some hairlines that account for the PR62 grade, the coin has great "arm's length" eye appeal !!
Thought of posting another Morgan but ... I'll post this instead (I'm enjoying viewing other's Morgans, don't need to post my own). For variety-sake, here goes. Picked this up at a local coin show a few weeks back. The guy deals exclusively in Canadian coinage - has a supplier somewhere in BC (the hinter-land I believe). He had several blast white 1963 halfs in 2X2s and in amongst them was this. He claimed it to be an end-role toner - have no reason not to believe him. I'm happy to have it.

More lovely coins everyone !!! OK, I'm continuing with my two-sided toning theme on Morgans, with this record-setting 1880-S PCGS MS68 ...
