CICF, who's going?

My hotel reservations are made and I will be there beginning on 4/26/07 (Thursday, early bird) and will leave on Sunday, 4/29/07. I love this show and that is why I will be there for the whole show. I tried to get Dimitri to come again, but alas I don't think he will make it. Okay, who is else is coming ( I already know several) and when does everyone want to get together?3Mark (Larry)

My uncle and I will be there from Friday morning thru Sunday afternoon. We plan on hitting the show early then going siteseeing during the afternoon hours

I might make it, but my world implodes 2-3 times per week lately. I'm just as likely to be attending a fire drill in Taiwan, El Paso/Juarez or Bhopal.

Was planning to go but yours truly just got a letter regarding the next ILNA meeting, which will be in Bloomington-Normal on 4/28. Not happy about it but my office requires it. Oh well!

We just got out hands on a really neat collection that we'll be debuting at CICF. A Hapsburg Austria 2 1/2 Thaler, a pair of 2 Ducats from 1600s Saxony, An Austrian klippe gold piece, a Breda siege copper, and lots of other stuff. Be sure to stop by and say hello (and look at our stuff.

My world seems to explode every couple of days demanding my full attention... I will be looking for some German Weimar coins and maybe a few Empire proof coins. Can anybody direct me to a table or two that will have coins of interest? This will be my first time to CICF and really do not know what to expect.

75 dealers and they are all foreign

For German proof KR coins, I would suggest Steve Huber at table#213. Philip Kapaan and Dirk Loebbers at table#9A, NEN at table#600, Karl Stephens at table#302 and our own Civitas (they aready gave their table#), Andy Lustig at table#507. BTW, unlike the New York show, all the dealers are in one room. If you want to meet me send me a PM and I will give you details.

I can't make it this year because I will be at EAC in St Louis instead. If London Coins is there and they have any of the sample slabs for CGS-UK that they were distributing at the NY international show could someone pick one up for me?

There is talk about a meeting of German collectors on Saturday morning either at 9 a.m. or 11 a.m. in the cafeteria across from the show. The reason for this is that the OFEC meeting is at 10 a.m. Dinner is still set for Gibson's on Thursday nite. If anyone needs any details, just PM me.3Mark (Larry)
