2007 World Series - Down, Down, Down....

I must have the most stable coin portfolio ever constructed. I keep drifting down, down, down in the standings - without losing or gaining one dollar in either direction!!

I am fully vested across several series, and nothing happens. Nothing! Is anyone else pounding sand this bad?

    The 1888 MS66 $3 Gold Princess went from $32,000 to $30,000. I have six in the trading game. I am in 300th place and thinking of selling everything so I can stock up on GW Dollars in MS64 image

    305. Bad move on the Wisconsin Extra Leafs. though I am still keeping them in my portfolio. If they drop again, they are outta here. Ebay sales havent been good lately on these.

    Still no action - I started this post at 93rd place with $1,000,000 and now I've made it to 123rd place with the same $1,000,000.

    Not only that, but I changed my portfolio around because I needed some kind of movement..............but - nothing! argh

    I haven't even been checking lately since my $ figure was stuck at $976K....the only change was a drop in the WI HL errors that I had. Let me get back to you....

    I was at 314, but I made some progress. I am at 309. I took a heavy loss right after I started, and I've been in the basement ever since.

    That makes no sense. Must be a typo. Buy as many as you can at $600.

    I had 15 AUs that didn't move a penny.

    Edited to add: Oh yea, I'm at 280 but bought a horde of "the next big winner!!!" with the procedes of my gold sale.

    Part of the problem in this market is that you can't cherry pick quality and high eye appeal in 'buying' coins for this game. As a result, overall portfolios are being dragged down by the softness in average-for-the-grade schlock in many series.

    I agree - I think it's way too high.... but the market has spoken. However, a $1.3M spread between single grades is just silly.... perhaps justifiable for a classic rarity, but here?

    I started late, in mid March, but hit on a few and moved up to #66. Since then my value has frozen and I have dropped to 117. I must be on the right track as many of the coins I put on my watch list have all been bought up.image

    OK, I reached #12 a couple or three months ago. That's the good part.

    Then, I checked today and I'm 360-something! What happened...I know I'm guilty for not trading and updating but dropping 350 or so spaces in 3 months!?
