Capped Bust Half Dollar prices are so high, I may forget about buying anymore. There must be a top somewhere, and it could be right now. Certainly, I want my collection to be worth more, but I am still wanting to buy, so today's prices do not make me happy.
<< <i>BB if there is such thing as a off season please let me know. I could use some discounted coins.
I was wondering why I had to ask this question and then I remembered I work 100 hrs a week for 4 months straight in the summer. Coins are definitely not even a consideration after I get started.
Talked to a dealer at the Baltimore show yesterday who told me about listing a coin on the Internet and having it sold less than one minute later!
It used to be that the Summer time was kinda slow and there were some bargains to be had then. Not so much the last year or two.

You just beat me.
Look for auctions ending around holidays, most people are to busy with thier families to be looking at coins, it's a good time to buy a bad time to sell.
