Baltimore pickup: 37-S Buff RPM-1 S/S/S?

This sort of looks like the S/S/S RMP-1 (Miller) pictured in Lange's book. I'd appreciate input from others if this appears to be an RPM and the RMP-1 specifically.

Yep... definitely looks like it to me. Matches the photos in Lange and also my Treasure Hunting Buffalo Nickels. Nice Coin!

Thanks guys. I know RPMs for this date/MM aren't terribly rare, but at least my common date coin from Baltimore is a little less common than I originally thought.

Eight years on, it is official!! I would have loved to keep it, but our hosts don't recognize it as a variety, and it didn't make sense to reslab without the designation. Of course it would have been nice if ANACS could have seen it as a 65 as NGC did originally, but at the end of the day one point isn't going to make a lot of difference on this coin.

Cool coin. There are plenty of neat varieties that our host does not recognize...but maybe one day they will...
