Need help with prices on so-called dollars

Would appreciate some help with pricing on HK-871, HK-872, & HK-873. Tey are in the original boxes and haven't been messed with. Thanks in advance.

Can this be considered a "private pattern" using the definition at USPatterns.com?
NGC is extremely tough on grading these. Most that I have seen are polished. I have talked with a former employee that has told me that although he doesn't remember these being polished, it wouldn't surprise him that they were considering who they were done for. The ones that I have seen are hairlined. Some have been bagged by NGC and some haven't.
Could be a very sweet catch in original boxes if they are, in fact, original.
Not much help when it comes to the gold in original holder 873 ,,,, Holy rat rap frat dude !! I would be all in.

Looks to get the new book on the market in June. Not sure we'll make it, but that's the goal. I'm currently running about a month and a half behind.

For those who watch the pop reports, this issue shows something interesting. NGC reports having graded a whopping 79 of HK-872 -- nearly 1/3 of the total mintage. They also report having graded 25 of the "never available" HK-873, almost 10% of that piece's total mintage.
On the other hand, they report having graded only --> 2 <-- of HK-871.
My best guess is that one person had a hoard for the bronze and gold pieces, and either didn't have any silvers or haven't submitted them yet.
Either that, or NGC simply messed up their pop reports.
Getting back to the question at hand, Heritage just sold an HK-873 in MS-61 for $2200. They sold another one three years ago for $570. Prices for So-Called Dollars are basically unpredictable right now (check out the upcoming auctions at Stacks and B&M if you want some laughs), but that should at least give a ballpark.

It's available on ebay. I'm fairly certain that if you contacted the ebay member smallforest, he'd sell you a copy. I'm not really sure what good it'll do you. Remember it's a guide. I would venture to guess that the prices in there were way off of what I got on ebay last night for a bunch I sold. In addition, prices are changing SO fast, that no guide could keep up. That's why this next edition of the book just cannot have pricing. Do I go with what I feel they are worth, what they traded for today, or what they will likely be trading for when the book comes out? And for those of you that say who cares, just give us some sort of guide on price, would you sell a 1799 Bust Dollar for $500, $1000, or $2000? And yes, the prices are changing that much. I can mention a few different auctions where SCDs have brought $1000 more than what was expected. That's not the norm, but who the heck knows right now. Prices can certainly be double the expected amount, even if that's small scale. I just sold a HK-299 (see www.so-calleddollar.com) for $130. It was graded AU58. A nice example, but this isn't THAT rare of a piece. I have come across quite a few without really trying. I think I paid $75 or less for it less than 6 months ago. I thought I paid a lot back then.
