Don't forget the fallen Iraqi generals--the ones with no next of kin, and an eager banker looking to unload 500 MILLION UNITED STATES DOLLARS 60% FOR ME 40% FOR YOU! Somehow, they learned that I was a very trustworthy American via my throwaway hotmail account!

I get ones like this all the time, some people must fall for them because they never seem to stop coming. Truly sad how many rich people die while on vacation/working in those foreign countries and the whole family bites it. I have kept track of how rich I would be if they were legit and I did them and I would have about 150 mil.

What I find most interesting about these, is how flagrantly they switch between the pronoun nominative "I " & the plural nominative "We."

"Although I know that a transaction of this magnitude

assure you that WE are sending you this mail with the

One must be careful when another can't keep himself straight within the same paragraph about how many or who is involved.

I still get the Nigerian scam in my hotmail account at times. I also get those unsolicited scams claiming to be ebay or paypal.

i received something similar to this from england, in a yahoo mesenger PM none the less ! all i had to do is agree to cash some checks and return 90% back to "the company" and i could keep 10% so i played along, all they needed was my SS #, date of birth, bank account statements, and info of that nature (for identification purposes only), i replied that i would be interested in the offer but i would require a little more annonymity, so i would counteroffer with sending them 95% and only keep 5% and not reveal any of the "identification purpose only" info i thought it would be a good deal all around, but the "rep" just keeps on me to commit to this, high pressure , thumbscrew tactics, so then i decide to check out the sender's yahoo profile, what she didnt know is that as the pressure increases, so does my productivity according to her, the pic from her profile is real, well, i put on a little negotiation pressure myself, some would call it obscene, lewd, maybe bordering on offensive, at first i cannot convince this person to leave me alone and now i cant get her to answer my communication, cant figure it out ??? below is her pic maybe the old guy at blue moon could give her a suit case full of coins to sell, she sure gives shawna a run for her money !!!!

Several poor, gullible souls have died pursuing this scam - others have disappeared and are presumed dead... This has been going on for at least 12 years... probably more. There recently was a TV segment where they actually interviewed some of the scammers in England.. where they are still in business... Cheers, RickO
