Coin looks nice, but.... That is the $44 question, isn't it?
60 years into this hobby and I'm still working on my Lincoln set!
The picture leaves the door open for doubt. The worst you could have done is to pay 5 or 6 bucks too much. No big deal--enjoy owning the coin!
What does bug me about the auction is that the seller spent 3 long paragraphs going on and on about the inconsistencies in TPG grading. Why mention that at all? It only serves to make one suspicious. At this price level, grading is not too likely.
Amateur opinion: If the pictures are right, it is a 65 if not for the teardop gouge below the eye. You just don't see higher than PCGS 63 with marks on the cheek. Anywhere but the cheek.
