White spots are'nt nicks, just remnants from my crummy photography skills.....
Bands arent split........

Guess the grade anyways........ I'll be sending it off this week image

    MS something, no full bands. Depends what kind of a market you have for raw coins.

    I don't have the sheet in front of me & I don't know what the deal is with a 17-S merc, but with regard to coins without a great spread from one grade to the next, I usually do better just selling them raw. If you feel it is a candidate for a grade with a big price bump, send it in. I guess I would start sending things in where the upside / downside balance gets real unequal, i.e. get a 63, lose $30 vs selling it raw, get a 64, make $200.

    I can't tell anything from the picture. The 17s is a somewhat better date. If its 63 or higher send it in.
