Well, I could complain that they are not all MS70s!! image

    Has anybody else noticed that the newer Gold Eagles including the '06 W coins are not as bright yellow in color as the 80's to mid 90's Gold Eagles are?

    It is not the brightness as much as the color, the older eagles have more of a yellow gold color while the newer ones are more of a bronze color. Makes it look like the older eagles are higher purity even though they have the same composition.
