Why After Everything, I Still <HEART> eBay (corrected, I understand that I do not suck) Update

mirabelamirabela Posts: 5,196 ✭✭✭✭✭
I thought I sucked, at least a little bit, but I see what has to happen before I can go around saying that about myself.

Maybe it was the guy's screwy rip-off shipping that scared people away. But I think I'll see the coin, and I think it is worth more than I'll pay. I have always wanted one of these, too.

I guess I can see your point. It isn't like it's worth multiples. Not in this holder, anyway, LOL.

Believe me, buddy, I'm hoping. Given those pics, who the heck knows what's in there, but I've got my fingers crossed.

Good Score but not YS Territory!
I decided to change calling the bathroom the John and renamed it the Jim. I feel so much better saying I went to the Jim this morning.

    The name is LEE!

Crap.... I've been looking in the Halves category for misplaced commems, searching by name and such, but I somehow missed that one. For example, I forgot to go bid on this Bridgeport that was listed in with the Mint Sets of all things, and which was an absolute steal.

So even if you don't suck, you made me jealous, for whatever that's worth.

So if it's not quite "you suck," what is it? "You lick," maybe?

    There are three categories.

    1. YOU SUCK!!!™
    2. You Suck Lite™
    3. Nice Score™

This one is a category three.

Oh, and I'll add some examples:

My PR68DCAM Accented Hair pulled from a proof set - YOU SUCK!!!™.

The 1967 SMS Kennedy I made in MS67DCAM that I cracked from a $12 SGS holder - You Suck Lite™.

The 1967 NGC MS67UCAM Birthmark Die that I picked off for about $100 under market value - Nice Score™.

Okay... so what would it be if I picked up a $100 variety in a group of coins I won for $.49 (that's 49 cents, not dollars)? Hypothetically, of course image Is the coveted YOU SUCK!!!!™ based on order of magnitude of the rip ("I sold it for 1,000 times what I paid") or the absolute dollar value?

It's based on a combination of the two. Yours is a You Suck Lite™.

That might be enough for a You Suck Lite.

    I'm with Russ. This is a really nice score. Reholder at a 64 and it's a You Suck Lite™. Reholder as a 65 and then, maybe...YOU SUCK!!!™
