What do you think of these Franklin Halves?

Are these full bell lines? What is wrong with these coins? Any opinions would be appreciated.

    spotted, rubbing, scratched, probably dipped, ugly; worth 8.5X face, IMHO.

    Posting pics of them right side up would help also...

    Some of these marks you can't even see with the naked eye. The scanner (I used a scanner) picked up on them. I thought the brown spots were unattractive toning.

    they look like they got the Sh!t kicked out of them lol.
    scans arent doing you any favors, a digicam pic would be better.
    Circulated, worth the price of their bullion content.

    They're upside down. They're ugly and spotted and brown. Aside from that I guess they're okay.
    All kidding aside they would show a whole lot better with a digital camera because your scans portray
    them poorly.

    Sell them for melt. But to answer your question, 63-Ds are rarely found in FBL, so I doubt it.

    They all seem to be struck with rotated die's..........

    Then washed in Chicago River waterimage

    On a more serious note , a few seem to be well struck ( 3 hairs in front of ear )
    the bell lines are hard to tell from your scans.............

    Not to put too fine a point on it... these coins s#ck!



    If you like Frankies sell these for melt and buy some that look nice. You can buy nice raw Frankies for under $10. If you don't like Frankies still sell these for melt and buy something you do like. These coins are a blight upon the eye.

    Here's the same coins with a lousy digital camera photo. I put my cloud dome away so these were taken without a flash indoors.

    I don't think scanning is the way to go image
    For the most part, in person, these all look UNC.

    You'd have to take a close up pic for anybody to comment on full bell lines. Otherwsie, looks like somebody took an unc. roll and put them in a holder for a while, picking up light toning. Could be some potential there.
    Some refer to overgraded slabs as Coffins. I like to think of them as Happy Coins.

    wow the difference is amazing between the scans and pics. They are worth more than melt to me. How much more is hard to say from the photos.

    The first batch looks like a pile of crap but the 2nd batch looks nice.Maybe if you dipped and acetoned the first batch and set them on edge in a dirty area in your house, in a couple of months they will tone up real swell, if you know what I mean?

    The first batch is no different than the second batch. THEY ARE THE SAME COINS.

    dig cam def. the way to go for these coins, just need some better lighting and zoom in a bit. some nice toning on some of them.

    scans did not do these coins justice at all.
