Coin looks like it initially sold here...

Then the same coin is being offered here by the same seller here...

Even if chrissysue is a shill...how do you make the jump from $300 to $900?

I am not interested in toned coins so I wont comment on the auction.

What I will say is that phrasing such as the following (half way down the page on the right hand side of that auction) will tend to put me off:

WE WARRANTEE AND REPRESENTS THAT THE GOODS ARE AS THEY ARE DESCRIBED IN THE ABOVE LISTING. WE WILL ACCEPT RETURNS OF THE GOODS ONLY IF THEY FAIL TO MEET THE DESCRIPTIONS ABOVE.

Agreed that you don't have to be an English language scholar to sell coins but ...

Didn't receive payment? Buyer didn't buy insurance and it wasn't shipped when the seller saw toners selling for hundreds more? Returned the money to the first buyer who was happy not to be apparently ripped off; so no negative feedback was left? Lots of possibilities even without a shill. I think the seller just figured he could get a lot more for the coin, failed to deliver and relisted at a much higher price.

Under bidding information for "chrissysue94", it shows the percentage of bidding activity (by her) with the seller "boymonaco" is 100%.
Interesting how she has gone from winning numerous auctions for women's apparel (spanning early 2004 to late 2006), to bidding on boymonaco's completely unrelated 1883O Morgan. I believe boymonaco, bidding as chrissysue94 (probably the ebay account of a relative of his), placed a nuclear bid on this 1883O to ensure that he would be able to keep it so he could try to resell it for three times the amount.
