An apology to Teletrade

rheddenrhedden Posts: 6,650 ✭✭✭✭✭
Last month, I posted a picture of a 1902-O dime, PCGS MS-62, I had won on Teletrade, which turned out to be scratched when I received it. I was upset that the scratch did not show in the photos, and I was too busy at work to go return it. I posted it recently, grumbling about their return policy & the quality of the coin.

Today, I received a phone call out of the blue from Gilbert at Teletrade, offering to take the coin back for a full refund. I have to admit, I was shocked that a coin auction company would do that for a customer months after the return privilege lapsed. In retrospect, it was just plain rude of me to post something on here without talking to them first, so I must apologize. image Turns out they are quite flexible with their return policy if something is wrong with the coin when you receive it (like a defect that didn't show in a photo). I'll be resuming my bidding activity on there, as I feel a lot better about their system now.

I've had to talk to Irma a couple of times about things, including one bid retraction, and I've not yet been disappointed with the outcome. (As it turned out, the retraction was not necessary because the coin blew through my max anyway.)

    Yep!

On the other side of the coin though...............The Squeaky Wheel gets Replaced!

All kidding aside, good of you to post this publically. That takes integrity.
I decided to change calling the bathroom the John and renamed it the Jim. I feel so much better saying I went to the Jim this morning.
