Wow! What a steal on this Carson City DMPL!!!!

My question is where is the Deep Mirrors and who the heck is World Coin Grading (WCG)???

This is where eBay's greed shows. Teletrade wouldn't allow this third world slab. Notice no Paypal so there's no recourse?

This seller was the subject of another recent thread for selling overgraded, cleaned and/or AU junk in "gem" holders.

<< <i>This a WCG over graded coin in an excellent <----Irrelavant word but it is good to pull you suckers in MS-67 Deep Mirror Proof Like condition though I can't see it but it's in a slab so it must be true. This coin lists at $70,000.00 in this condition on a completely different site that over guesses actual value so people will use their site. The pictures of the coins are actual pictures taken by us and the coin looks exactly as it does on those pictures. I'm saying this to cover my ass so you can't return the coin under faulse pretence.

This coin was graded and slabbed by World Coin Grading (WCG) company We have no idea who these people are but it has plastic and a label so it must be true. >>

This is what they think while they type this crap up image, then a quick edit to take out the important stuff image

Closed for $799! Roped in a 5-feedback sucker, as planned.

The fake bar code is a nice touch, though.

    Here's the WCG website:

LOL! They charge $75 per coin to grade it... It looks like a shell company that doesn't really accept outside submissions. Probably whoever sells these coins also owns the company, based in someone's garage.

Lookie what I found... Seems World Coin Grading is the same as NGCC. Check out the NGCC submission form--it's identical to the WCG submission form:

Check out the bid-history of bidder number 12 in this auction.

You are probably right about this auction being a "crime."

Aside from all that crime stuff: That seller has some of the
ugliest coins that I have ever seen in plastic.

What a scam image The fool that bought this bogus DMPL will be attending the school of hard knocks.

World Coin Grading looks like they will put anything you want on the label for $75.00

Neither PCGS or NGC have graded the 1878-CC Morgan in MS67DMPL

This is so sad... I feel bad for people who buy this crap.. and they really believe it is of value. I have had people become highly indignant and even angry when (gently and diplomatically) told that their possessions were not of value (high value as they perceived).. I now just nod and smile. Would rather just keep an amicable relationship... Cheers, RickO

    "Ebay sure is the pits."

Too bad you feel that way. ebay is no place for the novice collector is more like it, IMO. It is possible to buy nice coins at good prices on ebay. There are some upstanding, very ethical sellers who use ebay.
