New Piece (1800 Half Cent) for my Dansco 7070 Set

I apologize for my lack of photography skills

. Taking the photo through the slab didn't help me, either (I haven't cracked it yet). Looks like I didn't get enough light on the lower portion of the coin (the date & denomination details are sharp although they appear weak in the photo). I know the picture isn't great, but what do you think?

Looks like a nice one. Photographing through holders is difficult. Focus can also be a problem using auto-focus.

Looks like a "keeper", and your pics are decent enough to get a good overall view of the coin's surface without showing every rub, tic, etc to make the coin look 3 grades lower. Copper is a beeyatch to photo anyway.....

Thanks! I don't have the coin in front of me right now, but I don't think there is any porosity (although I think I see what you're seeing in the pic). I'll need to check the coin again to be sure.
