Has anyone noticed Die Cracks on the Reverse Eagles? Photo added.

I have two with die cracks running through the head and some of the letters in Liberty. Anyone else seen these cracks?

    It's gonna depend on how soon that die was retired as to how many there are. image

    Perhaps knowing the order date, shipping date and order number (first five numbers) might narrow it down a bit. image

    I've gone back and checked all mine and cannot detect any cracks. You may have something very unique.

    I reported two of these on Nov 26, '06, now I just saw one on ebay selling for a ton of cash.

    I just checked mine...got them back from pcgs last week.

    I have 10 and all 10 have the crack on the hat just like the first post here.

    It is different than the one on ebay though

    ms69 ... there also appears to be the slightest of die cracks or something to the left of the 2 in the date

    I hope they hold their value. I gave my kids each a set for Christmas. The ebay set went for $1035. I did a search and found another that went for $1500.

    Yours were not nearly as spectacular as theirs...best of luck and let us know how you do. Some people would send that back for replacement as defective...maybe the mint melted most of them.

    I have a few SAE Reverse Proof coins that have a slightly clockwise rotated Reverse Die. Anyone else find this same error? Is it a common happening on SAEs? Thanks, Mark.
