Well let me see if I can tick off all the major players in this thread. The cartoon was dumb, not remotely funny and inappropriate, especially given the threat of removal of these forums. So why push it, unless you really do not get it.
For those offended rather than make a grandstand, the simple and best solution would have been to pm the poster. For those who are afraid their children will get corrupted by these boards I would suggest to you that it probably is not a good idea to publish photos of kids here. If you are really so frightened of what they might see here then please reexamine your logic when posting their photos to these forums.

Let's not re-write history here. Jay was told directly that Notlogical was a YN right here in the thread. By the YN's father and others. And Jay mocked them with a huge crybaby image. It is not the image that is creating my outrage here, it is the fact that after being informed that his reply was directed to YN and that others saw it as inappropriate he not only chose to not take action, he also mocked them.
Actually I found the cartoon to be humorous as well. But this was not the place for it. The decency issue had less to do with the content, and more to do with the audience and his actions after the fact. As for my actions, if you don't like them fine. I posted my outrage in an effort to get the image removed on behalf of those who felt it was not the right place. Once the image was removed I deleted all my posts as it was never my intention of making it the primary issue in this thread. I was not heard from again for a day until Jay opened his mouth and called my posts stupid. My post was not stupid, I had an objective, my objective was met and I went away. But now I'm not going to let Jay and his harem re-write what went on here.
With that said, unless Jay directly makes another false claim against me here in the thread I am done with it. I am just sorry that my good friend has lost his posting rights here by no fault of his own.

I do think Saint Guru is dangling his toes on the line...and he didn't need to do this. And I of course respect Lucy Bop more than anyone else, and if it made her respond then something must be wrong with the thread.
That said, maybe I'm warped, but the stuff was pretty funny. As far as the YN goes...if he's old enough to post, he should have a thick skin and a sense of humor...it could be a life lesson.
And finally...Saint Guru is probably in a bad mood because he only finished second in the World Series of Coin Trading.

I am sorry that this thread has taken the ugly turn that it has. FatMan and SaintGuru are both friends on and off the forum, and I deeply regret what has transpired.
I never considered the fact that the photo-in-question would be inapprorpiate to the viewers of this forum. I thought it quite amusing, personally. As a father, I do not know how I would react to my son, when he reaches the age of thirteen, finding such content on a coin forum. Illogical/Samuel is such a neat kid, and it would really be a loss to the forum for him not to be permitted to continue here. I do not want to advise Coinhusker on how to treat his child (he seems to be doing a damn good job without my help), but I hope that he will see that this was a one-time incident that is unlikely to be repeated.
Going forward, perhaps all parties can make amends and we can continue the bashing of moderns without getting sidetracked on sticky OT issues. Right Cladking?

Basically this thread was/is a bunch of OT or OF type junk. I really don't give a crab's *** that Jay is struggling with his sexual preference, but it should be talked over with his therapist, not a coin forum!!!

I agree completely, which is an unfortunate indication that HRH is indeed most likely warped. That said, I'll add that the Samuel's "life lesson" should be that YNs would be well advised to avoid adult supervision at all costs when playing on the internet.

I'm a father of a 13 year old boy and I'm extremely proactive about what I allow him to see on the internet. Having said that, the picture in question is laughably tame compared to what's out there even on sites geared for young teens. Cripes, people...haven't you ever watched the Simpsons?

I've never bought anything for my coin collection. It all comes from circulation or whatever. To me, its like my other hobby, Rockhounding. It gives me real satisfaction to discover a pocket of chrysoberyl or obsidian, or like with coin collecting, discovering a die clashed 1972 Penny!!!!!!
