Counterfeit Bust Dollar for sale on eBay by Savabbah "estate" seller
Coin is crude 1796 forgery being sold in private auction closing Xmas Day under eBay 1700 6399 3235 with 10 PM Xmas Eve bid of $705, by one of the Savannah, Georgia estate scams. Bidders might be fictitious because the price seems somewhat high for such a crude forgery.
I hope one of the dealers or better connected collectors can get ahold of Craigslist to cancel the sale and start an investigation of the seller.
Best wishes to all, and to those in Denver, may your Christmas stockings be filled with lumps of coal (low sulpher of course).

All his auctions are private.
She's had 8 negatives in the past month, most of which are very harsh calling her a thief, scam artist and 'out of her mind!!!
<< <i>I find it funny that the 'garbage' is offered by 'estatedoctor'. All his auctions are private. She's had 8 negatives in the past month, most of which are very harsh calling her a thief, scam artist and 'out of her mind!!! >>
Actually it is mostly his replies calling the feeback leavers "out of [theri] mind[s]". The one that was a for a counterfeit coin was mutually withdrawn apparently after refund was given. There is much more positive feedback than negative. I wouldn't be afraid to bid on something I thought was real.
Estate sellers know a little about a lot of things but often have holes in their knowledge. My dad used to make good money at estate sales by knowing more about the merchandise than the seller did. It is likely that this seller has no knowledge of coins.

I think Jim & Pam Donnelly know exactly what they are doing.
I think the really sad part is, how many collectors are sitting on $800 fake coins thinking they got a deal and don't know how to tell the difference.
Hmmmm.......$800 = a coin worth $100k, NOT!!!!!
Everyone should take time out to report these items to ebay.

This is an obvious scammer with a long history and a trail of scorched earth.

Ok. I was just going on recent feedback. Then this would then be the scammer using estate seller as an alias. Past performance over a long period of time is a better indicater. They must have quite a few things they sell legitimately with good feedback and then sprinkle in a few fake coins to drag down their reputation...doesn't seem like a very good business plan to me--even for a dishonest person. Also, thanks for the e-mails I got form esteemed ex-members here. Thanks, Jerry

Never seen so many withdrawn feedbacks.
When will people learn???
The chance of winning a good deal on E-Bay is so much less than Vegas, and at least in Vegas you get free liquor when your winning or losing.
