I don't know what's funnier, a039's post or classiccoin's response.
Just for the record, I haven't read this thread all the way through.........BUT, there's a good chance no one has stolen the coin from the mail. A couple of years ago I bought a half-dime off of Ebay and never received it and went through all kinds of hassle.
The damn thing showed up in my mail almost a year later, and postmarked on the day she said she mailed it. Who knows why it was lost in the postal service for so long, but she did in fact mail it when she said she did.
Cheryl........."She was not quite what you would call refined. She was not quite what you would call unrefined. She was the kind of person that keeps a parrot." - Mark Twain
Cherwood ... I agree. That was not the issue in this particular case. The ONLY issue was how long should a buyer have to wait for a refund when a coin does not show up and whether a refusal to provide a refund after six weeks and then fight the paypal dispute filed two months after the coin was paid for constitutes bad customer service. Unfortunately, Darin was one of their own so the Circle of Trust tried to run me off the boards and failed. Nothing more, nothing less. I am sure that Darin sent the coin, he is sure that I never received it.
However, we really need to agree to disagree and move passed this issue. Still, the self-proclaimed chosen few like to drag this out of mothballs every time they do not agree with something that I post. If you want to waste your time on this, feel free to reread all of the threads and form your own opinion. Personally, I am getting tired of it and do not think that it is good for Darin's or my own well being.

Even though it's very clear to one segment of our great society, it's not so clear to me. >>
OK ... but I really think that we need to move on. I negged him because after six weeks of receiving no coin, I requested a refund. He refused. After two more weeks, I filed a paypal dispute to recover my money. He fought it and lost. I negged him for what I considered HORRIBLE customer service. Approximately one month after that, he negged me because he tought that I was being unreasonable. None of those facts are in dispute.
In short, I negged him for what I considered bad customer service. Not for theft, not for failure to send the coin ... but simply because he refused to give me a refund after six weeks and then fought the paypal dispute. He negged me for demanding a refund and pressing the issue after two months.
His friends simply drag this thread out in an attempt to discredit me when they do not like something that I say ... it is always the same people ... although their numbers are now significantly decreased.
PS - I will not respond to this thread further until it is dragged out the next time that I say something with which the remaining "Circle" members disagree.

Yes it's abundantly clear that you continue to ignore the real issue. You have repeatedly chosen to ignore the fact that you disrespected Darin by refusing his instructions to follow the protocol for a loss BY THE U.S.P.S. And you continue your double speak by characterizing this as "horrible customer service". You're the one that should be disrespected for failing to provide due diligence.
If you guys are getting as tired of these off-topic ramblings as I am, why not encourage the old "Circle" to quit poking me with a stick while I'm sleeping.
