The famous King of Siam Set
The Big Kahuna 1804 Draped Bust with nice color
Abraham Currys Carson City USmint safe
I sure would like to have one of these 100,000 notes in my collection
This printing press is dated 1862 and was one of the first ones to print notes for the United States.
This printing plate was made for the Vegas Show from old original dies. Mike Beck, from the Bureau of Engraving and Printing, put on a demo of how they would print money back in 1862. They had the Las Vegas die made especially for the show and printed it in red.
They only made 100 of these signed demo sheets for the show
Close up of the Post Office stamp they used back in the day
We had a great time in Vegas and enjoyed talking to the coin dealers. The gun show was very interesting to walk through, seeing some old civil war guns and uniforms. I hope they take the show back to the Mandaley Bay next year, the Riviera smells like cigarettes.
