I just got ASE Anniversary set set confirmed

I just ordered a set. Due to the fact that I thought I had done it already but it didn't show up in my account as an open order like the others. They say ship date 12/8......

Do they also have to go in for grading as first strikes in un-opened box???????????? Or is it too late?????

Also, Can anyone tell me what ICG means on a slab that says "FIRST DAY OF ISSUE" ????
I have a 2 coin set of 2005 1/10 th's Gold... 1 is MS70 the other PR70... Is that there way of saying "FIRST STRIKE"????

This is soooooooo confusing.....

Wish I could of afforded the 3 coin gold set..... Could have paid off my wife's cancer surgery bills she just incured..... Oh well, better to have her around

I am fairly certain that a 12/8 ship date will not qualify for First Strike. Unless, of course, the mint screws up in your favor and ships it out before 11/11. That would get the 30 day qualification as I believe the sets started shipping 10/12.
I decided to change calling the bathroom the John and renamed it the Jim. I feel so much better saying I went to the Jim this morning.

  • and just remember.. if they are not in the right holder with that all important first strike designation.. they are completely undesirable coins and probably near worthless.. mr guth and mr hall want to retire very comfortably and need the herds of sheep to keep sending in their 5 day old coins without even looking at them first and keep drinking the pcgs koolaid.. hehe

perish the thought of actually opening your mint boxes and enjoying the coins for their beauty and just leaving them in their attractive mint packaging
    when judgement day comes..
