Be sure to check the nickel and quarter for doubled die obverses-the nickel on "IN GOD WE TRUST" and the quarter on the date and Mint mark. Both are goodies!

A coin or set of coins makes a wonderful gift doesn't it. Especially with a personal touch.

Happy birthday, and a very nice gift!!

Now you only need the 1990 no-S cent to complete your set! image
  • Options
That would be sweet, how hard do you think it would be to find one in the pf69 range?

Fairly difficult. And it would cost over $10K for one from PCGS (DCAM) or NGC (Ultra Cam). A very rare coin, I've seen published estimates of 150 - 200 known. I know, it's not the holy grail of Lincoln cents, but it's still very difficult to find and very valuable. Even though some people would call it modern crap.

Happy birthday and what a great present!
