Right now I am currently in the greatest military in the world. US Air Force to be exact! After I put in another 10 years I can finally retire at 20 years of active duty service. So far it has been a fun filled 10 years. One tour in South Korea, Iraq, and Afganistan. After I get out of the military I plan on getting an IT job with my BS degree in Information Technology. Thats about it that I have going on right now!

I have my fingers in a few different pies. Right now, however, I'm going back to school for a Masters in Economics, after which I'll probably go on to get my PhD. I enjoy my life, and wouldn't change much, but I would like to have a job that makes a positive difference in the lives of others.
Professional bum and enjoying it. I sleep until 11am; eat a Balance bar, then play video games till 4PM. Check my mail for cards. Watch Home Improvement, Married with Children, and a bunch of other reruns and eat dinner. Get on the computer at 8pm and put snipes on cards until 9pm. Watch Andy Griffith, and other crap on TV Land till 11PM. Bug my wife for a quickie.... then more computer and TV till 3AM. Rinse and repeat.
Meteorologist. The firm I work for provides road maintanence forecasts for various DoT agencies. If the weather is lousy in your area don't blame me as I only forecast the weather, not manufacture it.

I teach History to 7th grade during the day and college students at night. I work sometimes at Starbucks just for some free coffee and I go to school on occasion.

Cards are boring. They are not like they use to be. Big business has taking away the fun in collecting. Bring back Don West & Eddie Lewis. That was prime time comedy hour. Bring back the "Box bottoms". Nothing can replace the old school 1987 Topps "Future Stars" RC, Fleer "Major League Prospect" RCs, and Donruss "Rated Rookie" RC. Now we have the Super D Duper Black Platinum-Fractor Chrome Autograph 1 of 1 Rookie card. I miss Star Pics, TCMA, Pro Card, Team Best when it came to prospects. Now, there is no such things as minor league cards when they have major league RCs (First Year) as soon as they turn pro. Even the "XRC" is obsolete and replaced with "FY". As the old blue B.B. King song goes..... "The Thrill Is Gone".

Happily retired after 34.5 years with the Feds. Was an Air Traffic Controller for 7 years, until I thought I was smarter than Reagan in 1981. 10 years prior to that with the U.S. Army, Vietnam Vet, got out as a Captain. The remaining 17.5 years with the IRS as a Program Analyst. The latter was beginning to take my happy face, thus I eliminated the irritation. Can't tell you how nice it is to be the master of your universe!!

A sophomore Culture/Communications major at NYU, currently working as a Junior Ad rep for a great company called The Family. Hope to do something in broadcasting or in advertising and stay in the city.
However, since I am on the baseball team here, I like to tell the girls I'm a "Baseball player." And with NYU being one of the largest private schools in the country, you have to be good to play here, right?
What I don't tell them is that we are D-III, don't recruit, that I only got 9 ABs as a freshman, and haven't won our conference in a long, lonnnnng time. I don't lie, I just don't tell them the context of the baseball team.
Entrepreneur / currently doing 4 things simultaneously....
1. Technical Recruiting Consultant (pays the bills, 40/hr gig) 2. Side Recruiting Business with a partner (landed our first major client last month) 3. Online Furniture Store / E-commerce (with two partners --- www.fineironbeds.com) 4. Real Estate Investment (just bought my first rental house in Raleigh, NC).
I came out to Los Angeles 5 years ago to find success .... there's good days and there's bad, but overall I'm finely making things happen for myself out here. Hope to have complete freedom (i.e. no boss) within the next 2 years and phase out the Consultant gig entirely.

My daughter was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes at the age of 2 (2003). My son was diagnosed with Type 1 when he was 17 on December 31, 2009. We were stunned that another child of ours had been diagnosed. Please, if you don't have a favorite charity, consider giving to the JDRF (Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation)
