  • I'm hoping to get a job in the field of thermal hydraulics ~ perhaps fusion research.

Right now I'm close to finishing a master's in mechanical engineering with a thesis that deals with studying the void fraction of multi-phase flow using a gamma-ray densitometer (Am-241 source). I chose to play Madden all week so here I am doing experiments at 4:43am...

When I was a kid, me and Johnny Mullen tried to "fuse" two nickels together to make it look like a quarter.

    It didn't work.

Like the Grateful Dead song, it's been a "Long, Strange Trip". I haven't been hugely successful and any of these ventures, and at times it's been a real struggle (literally down to my last $1.00 a couple of times) but I still wouldn't have traded the independence and freedom to chart my own path for anything.
