Capped bust dimes/half dimes, I want to see some pictures please. All grades from G to beyond what

As many pictures as possible is welcome. I would like to see all the differant detail levels that apply to the appropriate grades, to help determine what I would find acceptable for my taste. I can then research to see if it falls into my budget. (Then go back and see what actually will fall into my budget)

Yea I know I can research through Heritage, Stacks, ANR, etc.. But this way it gives you guys and gals an excuse to show off your babies. ( like you all need an excuse rightimage) Besides you guys shoot some great photos.

Thanks a bunch
Ron

If you're looking to learn about the Capped Bust half dime I highly recomend getting "Federal Half Dimes 1792-1837" by Russ Logan and John McCloskey. For the Capped Bust dimes check out "Early United States Dimes 1796-1837" by Davis, Logan, Lovejoy, McCloskey and Subjack.

You may also be interested in this online forum created by one of the Half Dime nuts here. Lots of good information and some familiar faces.

Of course I recomend taking a look at the John Reich Collectors Society as well. You can get to their website via the link in my sigline. An excellent club and resource for any Bust collector.

Lastly, if you're interested in the Capped Bust half dime check out my personal website, also in my sigline, for more information about the series.

Here is my one and only, it grades VF-35 and is an 1835 Small Date Small 5C and LM-11, an R-4 variety.

This is my type set representative, and it is very special to me. image Most of my type coins are special to me as they have stories or memories or people (friends and family) associated with them. image

Hey Cladiator, you have way too many of those half dimes. It's time to give some of those away.image
