 Posting the same picture twice doesn't make it funny.

BTW - Noticed you changed your signature:

Mr. HeeHee says the Yankees are going to send the Red Sox packing to Chicago!!!!

Though Mr. HeeHee said the Yanks were going to knock the Sox out of the playoffs? Now it's packing them to Chicago after the fact?

I'm not sure that I'd take hobby investment advice from someone who was also so keen on the Upper Deck Yankees Master Collection.

Jeter and Arod should teach him how to play Defense, is a poor mans Soriano
  • Options
Not quite a poor man's Soriano.

A toothless and homeless 98 year old bum's Soriano maybe.

Of the last 10 years, nobody scared Red Sox fans like Soriano at the plate (not even Matsushi)

He is a pleasant surprise for the Yanks. But in game 1, he was a near liability in the field. Instead of the bullfighter attempt at the ball up the middle in the 9th inning, he should have got his body in front of it. He also hesitated on the potential double play. But, no loss, so no scapegoat.
Proud of my 16x20 autographed and framed collection - all signed in person. Not big on modern - I'm stuck in the past!

If you listen to yankee apologists, they'll say it's because he's still learning how to play second, because somehow playing second at the major league level is somehow different than the minors.

He's a hack at second....he'll consistently lead the league in errors (like he nearly did this year).

yankee haters will tell you that there is just no way this guy will ever improve his defense. He has never had to concentrate on D because of his wicked stick, and thats it, just will never improve. He can't, because gosh darn it, he is a Yankee.

THIS ISN'T SINGLE A MINOR LEAGUE BASEBALL YOU MORON.

He was in the minors since 2002, so your trying to compare him to Jeter's first year is, as usual, erroneous.

No, he won't improve because not everyone is meant to be a good fielder...after playing pro ball for 4 years, you'd think he'd at least be mediocre - he's not, he's AWFUL. Anyone who tries to paint anything else is simply a yankee fan who can't see the truth in front of their eyes.

    Cano- 9 errors
    Lopez- 14 errors
    Kinsler- 18 errors

50% less than Lopez and half of Kinsler...guess in your world that NEARLY led the league....DOPE

only Yankee who comes close to NEARLY leading the league in errors is the guy who DID LEAD the league in errors....AROD with 23.

Yeah that A-Rod, Sharon's love child, sure has had one helluva year at 3rd base. In addition to the Gold Glove Award there should be a Lead Glove Award.

I guess the Pads don't need old Rickey's help after all.

Arod and Cano both had aberration years - Arod far above his norm, Cano well below what he did last year.

Next year the law of averages will correct both; Arod will have a solid year, and Cano will be called 'stonehands' again.

ctsoxfan- Come on man, your hatred for the Yankees has clouded your mind. As an unbiased baseball fan can you honestly say you won't trade Mark Lorretta for Robinson Cano, straight up?

And Sharon - How about you? What about a straight up deal, Jose Lopez for Robinson Cano? Obviously I know what you will say. Your Yankee hatred makes your mind beyond cloudy.

The Yankees would be crazy to do either deal.

I would gladly trade Josh Barfield for Cano.

Next MONTH? So he's saying that if he wins, the best-case scenario is that he'll be paying for it two weeks after the auction ends?

I'm not so sure. Loretta has a much better glove, and hit over .300 most of the year - Cano only has him in power. And, Loretta showed me a lot this season, getting several hits in key situations. In all, Loretta is a good player, but sort of a journeyman - I am not so sure he's even back with Boston next year.

Lopez from Seattle is at least as good, I'd venture to say he's better. But of course, since he's not in your face on the YES propoganda channel, Yankee fans don't really know much about him. How about the kid in Florida, Uggla - with 26 HR's?

You'd trade Barfield for him? Why? Their stats are about even - except Barfield has 20 steals to Cano's 4. And, Cano's RBI lead is attributed to the lineup he plays in. I think Barfield has more upside, personally.

Lopez is as good as Cano ???

Cano is batting 60 points higher than Lopez, and actually has a slightly better fielding pct.

Dude, are you dreaming, or trying to ask Ax out for a date ?

Wow...you would take Lopez over Cano??? I'm sure Red Sox fans glad arent you the GM!

You can say that he benefits in RBIs because of the lineup he is in...what you have to remember is that you still have to get the hits to get the RBIs! Some good raw talent there that is only going to get better as he settles in the big leagues.

And lets not forget...before the trade deadline, every team wanted Cano and Wang (and Philip Hughes)...I dont think it was because they are expected to be average players.

Where do I start? Help me here I am pulling at straws. Oh, wait just a second! How about a 60 point difference in Batting Average? I suppose the lineup makes a difference also since Cano bats towards the end of the lineup.

    Cano .343
    Barfield .284

    Dopey,

You cant call every hitter on the Yankees a hack, than later on say they wouldnt be doing what they are doing if it werent for all the great hitters around them. It doesnt work both ways moron.

And Cano would bat .300 in his sleep, on ANY team.

Lastly, nothing ever uttered from that hole in your head is remotely close to truth.
