You have done business with worse people then him in your life, and not just in numismatics. The only difference is you just didn't know it. At least he admitted his mistake and is doing something about it. Live and let live.
Saw this response a bit earlier in another thread to a comment about a forum member being rude to new collectors...thought it was ironic in light of this thread:
<< <i>Well, buddy, your skin's a bit thin... >>
I have been insulted more times than I can count because of my race. WHO CARES?????
Some folks don't like whites, some folks don't like blacks, some folks don't like Jews, some folks don't like Arabs, some folks don't like Asians...personally, I couldn't care less about anyone else's opinion of me (besides friends and family, of course). Especially when their opinion is expressed while drunk.
I heard they were making a French version of Medal of Honor. I wonder how many hotkeys it'll have for "surrender."
I would deal with him, he would be just another costomer to me, except he has a endless wallet, and i would want to dive ten thousand leguges into that black whole of money he has! I dont care what anyone sayes i still like mel!
Advanced collector of BREWERIANA. Early beer advertising (beer cans, tap knobs, foam scrapers, trays, tin signs, lithos, paper, etc)....My first love...U.S. COINS!

We wouldn't want the good name of numismatics to be soiled by any shady characters.
