  Don't know, but I just got this similar one back from pcgs, graded 64fbl. Bought it raw on ebay. No idea if it's AT or NT.

  I think I need to see some additional images that probably capture better color and luster....
  
  Kind of a tough call here....
  
  I don't see unusual color splotchiness and blends that tend to cause my AT flag to rise...
  
  I also haven't encountered a ton of 48D's toned in this manner, and I have seen many a 48 mint set...

  i agree with what lucy said. from the pics it looks legit (if i had to wager). by the way i like the look of it. if it is AT it's one of the better jobs ive seen.

  Pretty coin--it's fairly standard cardboard mint set colors for the date.

  A little difficult to tell from the pics, but I agree it looks like mint set toning.

  It looks like a mint set coin to me where the coin got lucky and the toning came out well.

  Retired dealer and avid collector of U.S. type coins, 19th century presidential campaign medalets and selected medals. In recent years I have been working on a set of British coins - at least one coin from each king or queen who issued pieces that are collectible. I am also collecting at least one coin for each Roman emperor from Julius Caesar to ... ?

  It's natural mint-set toning. I don't think I'd call it attractive, though it's not unattractive. I believe the obverse was face down in the set because of the darker areas on Franklin's portrait and the darker spot in his hair behind his ear, likely caused by loose flecks of cardboard. Pretty decent strike too, with clear pass and stow and well defined bell lines.
